Apple Shows Off New Shortcuts App in iOS 17 with a Simplified User Experience and Enhanced Siri Commands
Why’s this important?
iOS 17 organizes shortcuts in rows by apps and simplifies the automation setup process. (One of my main complaints of shortcuts on iOS). This redesign should allow you to quickly find your Shortcuts and understand the actions associated with each app. Also, subtle changes to Siri now allow you to trigger App Shortcuts with more natural language, enhancing usability.

Why’s this important?
You can now safeguard your passwords more efficiently, even on shared computers, and easily manage them across devices. Moreover, the introduction of passkeys points to the future of password-less authentication. Taking advantage of the new password manager improves your online security management.
OpenAI Enhances ChatGPT Experience with Full Screen Support, Siri voice triggers, and Shortcuts Integration
Why’s this important?
Haven’t seen many discuss this update but I found this to be huge. This version includes features like drag and drop support, Siri support, and integration with Apple's Shortcuts. This means you can easily move messages from ChatGPT to other apps and also use Siri or Apple's Shortcuts to start a new chat. I’m excited to get my hands on this and see how I can get better information from Siri because right now it’s more than lackluster.
