Microsoft replaces Cortana with it’s AI Copilot which will live in your task bar and assist you with tasks (Windows 11 Only).
Why’s this important?
Cortana has been largely useless since it’s release. Microsoft putting Copilot integration directly into Windows allows the powerful tool to be easily accessed. Watch Microsoft’s announcement of it’s Windows Copilot. (1.5 minute watch time).
Google's New AI-Powered Search Experience, SGE, Adds More Time Than It Saves.
Why’s this important?
AI summaries will appear right under the search box to help you get to your information quicker… or in a minute or so. The generation time takes a bit and is currently not something I’d recommend to wait or rely on.
OpenAI rolled out Shared Links to ChatGPT users. The feature generates a link for your ChatGPT conversation, and you can share it just like any other URL.
Why’s this important?
Anyone with your shared links can read the conversation and continue the chat as if it were their own. This is a big deal if you have a good prompt, you can now share them directly to colleagues.
